The Xerox DocuColor 5000 Digital Press will ensure its future growth and allow it to deliver noticeably faster and more reliable service with significantly improved output colours.
"The DocuColor 5000 is the best possible option for us", says Andy May, managing director, Glasgow Print and Design Centre.
"With its installation comes a massive improvement in the quality of print, the range of media we can support and speed of production".
"We expect this to increase significantly our business, particularly with graphic designers".
"We have worked with Xerox for over five years now; their customer support and service is simply unmatched".

Launched in May 2006, the DocuColor 5000 features 2400 x 2400 dpi print resolution and state-of-the-art laser technology.
Its 32-beam laser - compared to a typical 2-beam laser - allows the press to process data faster and at a higher resolution.
The DocuColor 5000 also offers a wider choice of colour management capabilities than other light-production digital colour systems presently available on the market.
The press is designed to produce marketing brochures, posters, customised direct-mail pieces and more.
"Scotland represents a growing market for Xerox, and this installation of the DocuColor 5000 is excellent proof of this".
"Investing in the new equipment, Glasgow Print and Design Centre will add extra value and a competitive edge to its services; I am sure this will attract new customers and increase the loyalty of existing ones", said Peter Taylor, director and general manager, Graphic Arts, Xerox UK.
In addition to the new DocuColor 5000, Glasgow Print and Design Centre also runs two other Xerox machines: the Xerox 4110 Copier / Printer and the DocuColor 12 Printer.
