The second business in the UK to install Xerox's Docucolor 8000AP, Stilton Print of Ipswich (UK) which is enabling the company to produce personalised digital printing with quicker turn-around times.

Stilton Print is able to work effectively with the demanding commercial digital print market and it is also utilising Creo software with the 8000AP to enable the creation of personalised documents that can increase standard response rates, said Xerox.

The Docucolor 8000AP is said to be designed to meet the diverse high-volume production needs of print providers in commercial and in-plant environments.

The machine features a claimed 2,400 dots per inch (dpi) x 2,400 x 1dpi print resolution for sharpness and uniformity resulting in crisp, sharp text and digital screening technology that improves colour consistency.

Xerox added that the Docucolor 8000AP digital press offers front-to-back registration of + or - 0.5mm, which effectively complements output from offset presses.
