Xerox Papers Lead Market For 5th Consecutive Year

New research just released has revealed that for the fifth consecutive year Xerox provides the leading brand for cut sheet paper in Europe.

The research results from work conducted by Opticom International Research, examined office paper brands has been conducted amongst 4,000 professional users across seven countries in Europe.

Opticom's Brand Equity Index (BEI) iss aid to assess the impact of individual office paper brands, whilst benchmarking the leading brands against each other.

It also evaluates the success of individual brand strategies over time using four key drivers of brand equity - spontaneous awareness, 'top-of-mind', qualities and associations and loyalty.

Xerox said that it has built its reputation as a quality brand and the company's combined expertise in printer technology and paper production helps customers to improve productivity and maintain quality to provide the right paper for the right applications.

In Europe, Xerox added that it has enhanced its range of papers and the company has claimed that it now offers customers the widest variety of environmental papers on the market.

One of those papers, Planet Optimum, is the first Xerox branded FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified product.

With a claimed high level of whiteness, Planet Optimum contains 30 per cent post-consumer waste and is chlorine free bleached to provide a bright white paper with strong sustainability credentials.

In addition, the Xerox Recycled range has been increased and the introduction of Recycled Optimum is said by the company to offer customers a 100 per cent post-consumer waste (PCW) sheet, with the highest whiteness level offered in the Recycled range.

Also, Recycled Pure+ is another 100 per cent PCW sheet, certified to Blue Angel and Nordic Swan environmental standards.

Xerox added that it will continue to develop substrates to provide environmentally positive, creative applications for the market.
