Synthetic In Mould Papers For Wide Ranging Use

Yupo Corporation America, the manufacturer of synthetic papers will introduce two new IML (in mould label) grades at Labelexpo Americas 2004.

Yupo will be exhibiting in Booth 443 at the trade show, which takes place September 13 -16 in Rosemont, Illinois.

The new IML products, ISE105 and IUE105, feature enhanced performance, including improved anti-static properties said the company.

"We've engineered both ISE105 and IUE105 to accommodate an expanded range of blow moulding applications and to facilitate ease of handling during the manufacturing process.

These grades will enable blow moulders to run their production lines at either lower or higher temperatures without incurring blistering or distortion defects.

The superior anti-static properties inherent in our ISE105 grade will also result in increased 'pick and place' efficiencies and higher press speeds.

In addition to these same anti-static properties, IUE105 offers an especially smooth surface for improved bottle and label texture matching," said Paul Mitcham, Yupo Corporation's national marketing manager.

Yupo Corporation America manufactures a broad range of synthetic papers for the technical paper and commercial printing industries.

The papers, which the company claimed are noted for their exceptional durability, are 100 per cent waterproof and highly resistant to tearing, scratching and staining, whilst providing exceptional print quality, uniform coating surface and reliable convertibility.

They are also said to be 100 per cent recyclable.

In addition to introducing the two new IML products at Labelexpo Americas 2004, Yupo will showcase its full range of IML grades as well as its pressure sensitive and direct thermal grades.
