Synthetic Paper Firm Celebrates 10 Years' Business

Celebrating 10 years of business in North America and South America, Yupo Corporation, the manufacturer of synthetic paper, held a special event in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) for 100 guests.

Yupo said that to address robust demand in the Americas for its synthetic paper products, it has implemented a strategy that included capital investments to improve the efficiency of its production line.

Those improvements have resulted in a 20 per cent increase in production output this year, which allows the company to continue to ensure reliable supply and provide service and flexibility to its customers, added the company.

Martin J Fiorillo, vice president of marketing and distribution sales at Yupo Corporation America, commented: "We are happy to have had the opportunity to celebrate this significant milestone with our fellow industry partners, customers and colleagues." He added that Yupo Corporation broke ground in 1997 for a manufacturing facility in Chesapeake, Virginia (USA) to address the market demand for a more versatile paper alternatives in the Americas.

Since then, Yupo has grown to become an industry leader, offering a full line of Yupo synthetic papers for a variety of creative and technical applications, ranging from corporate brochures, maps and menus to magazines, labels and board games.
