Non-Stop Printers Go On Show In Saudi Arabia

At the Gitex exhibition in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) Zebra Technologies will show its RFID systems for labels and cards and a range of printing systems.

The company's stand - 118 - at the Gitex show, which will run from April 20 -24, will highlight the Zebra 140XiIII Plus printers, which are claimed to be able to print non-stop at high speed, 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.

Also on show will be Zebra's mobile printer, the RW220.

At the same time, Zebra's TLP2844 desktop printer its Value line of card printers, the P100i and P120i for printing identity cards, membership, loyalty cards and gift cards and the Performance range of card printers - the P430i - will be seen.

The show will also provide the stage for Zebra's P520i and P640i designed to produce long-life cards for access control, driver's licences, law enforcement and military identity cards, for instance.

Zebra said that the Middle East's US$5 billion information technology market and its excess liquidity is a key focus attraction for the company.

The company said that its technology and products are well entrenched in businesses throughout the region, with large-scale systems.

Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of the growing regional IT market, with almost 50 per cent of regional sales in an industry worth about SR.18 billion, added the company.
