Zechini will be exhibiting at Paperworld 2005 in Frankfurt from January 26-30, 2005 (Stand F13, Hall 4.0) before staging one of its most important events - its open house from February 17-19, 2005 where the company will show and demonstrate its complete line of new products It will introduce its newest installations, along with some of the more important projects realised since Drupa 2004

The company believes that its hard cover production line would be of particular interest.

Of those, the Roby Junior is suitable for short-run hard covers, case making and looseleaf products, offering all inclusive components in a single unit - hot and cold gluing, multi-piece board feeder and semi-automatic turning-in capabilities.

The Roby One has become Zechini's best seller.

During the open house guests will be introduced to the newest options and features that the company believes add to its versatility and multi-functionality.

Amongst the newest optional features are the 'photo' and 'passport' - the photo feature was designed specifically for the production of coffee table books and children's books.

The moving table is capable of compensating up to 500mm thickness.

The passport feature's configuration makes it possible to produce up to 4,000 passports per hour said Zechini.

The Roby 2V was introduced at Drupa 2004 and is claimed to be one of the company's most productive machines.

Producing up to 2,000 pieces per hour, it produces one, three or four-piece hard covers with a maximum format of 450mmx700mm.

Every operation is completely automated with its user friendly computer console said the company.

In the print on demand market, Zechini will demonstrate its complete line of equipment for the production of quality digitally printed books - Millennium.

The company said that Millennium is available as an in-line version with the new Xerox Docutec extra large format, or an off-line version connectable with all digital colour or mono printers.

It consists of three stations that collect, fold and sew the sheets (maximum format 350mmx500mm), producing from six to 32 page signatures.

During the open house the signatures will be finished on Zechini's perfect binder and three knife trimmer Fiorino, expressly designed for the digital print market.

Zechini will also introduce two of its newest additions - the Mida hot foil stamping equipment and the Zinko, designed to trim the face on soft cover flapped books.

The Zinko was formally introduced at Drupa and the company said it has already proved to be a success, with several installations already.

Zechini has committed to participation in 10 trade fairs worldwide during 2005, including Saudi Print (Saudi Arabia), Fiepag (Brasil) in March, Poligrafia (Poland) in April, Chinaprint (China), PacPrint (Australia) in May, Asia Print (Thailand) in June, Print (USA) and Photokina (Germany) in September.
