What happened to old-fashioned pen and paper
D and AD, the professional association and charity for the design and advertising communities, has released its annual review.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Kraushaar, head of print and production at the National Trust, said: "Zebra was included in the 2007 handbook tender because it already manages the pre-press work for our thrice-yearly National Trust magazine.
Zebra's partnership approach and professionalism undoubtedly influenced our final decision.
Also, with an extremely tight timescale of just two weeks in November to produce the job in full, it was critical that we chose an organisation which would be able to deliver under pressure." And he added: "It's a big job with big responsibilities but one that we believe Zebra is very capable of handling." Daniel Simpson, sales director of Zebra, concluded: "We are delighted to have won the pre-press work for the 2007 National Trust handbook.
Having already worked closely with Peter and his team to produce the National Trust magazine, we are very aware of what they expect from a supplier." Simpson continued: "This job has come on the back of what has been a very successful summer with a number of other high profile contract wins such as IATA and Bluewater magazines from Story Worldwide, Orient Express from ILN and River Publishing's new Golf magazine, 'Swing'".
