Zetes has acquired Powersys 2000, a Spanish company specialising in print and apply systems and services, for Euro1.8 million (IFRS).
Zetes has acquired Powersys 2000, a Spanish company specialising in print and apply systems and services, for Euro1.8 million (IFRS) Powersys employs 10 people and generated revenues of Euro2.6 million in 2005, of which more than one third is from recurring business
With the acquisition, Zetes said it will accelerate its growth in the Spanish market by reinforcing its presence in the Barcelona and Catalonia region.
Zetes believes it has obtained highly differentiated print and apply systems to complement its current product range in the goods identification market.
The founder of Powersys, Giuseppe Vernone, will remain managing director of the company.
The acquisition of Powersys 2000 will be consolidated in to Zetes's accounts from Febraury 15 February.
In line with its strategy for the, this acquisition will accelerate the growth of Zetes in the Spanish market.
